Emotional Awareness is important for our wellbeing
We so often talk about our mental health, however, do we consider our emotional wellbeing to the same extent? Yet how much of our mental wellbeing is tied up with our emotional health? We tend to think of emotions as good or bad and this can cause us challenges as we seek to avoid those we consider as ‘bad’, yet all emotions are data, they are trying to tell us something and if we ignore the emotions we find uncomfortable do they actually go away? Or do they stay around waiting for attention?
