Long Term Conditions Framework

The analysis phase of the Long Term Conditions Framework has now concluded.  A full analysis report will be published in October.

As they move into the next stage they want to provide  an update on the high level results of the analysis,  timelines going forward and plans for the governance of the framework including third sector and lived experience involvement.

The Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health has been clear that they place a huge importance on hearing from organisations representing people with long term conditions and hearing directly from people with lived experience. This will be an important aspect of how they develop the framework and the ongoing action plans to improve services for people with Long Term Conditions.

On this basis they  would like to invite you to an online third sector event via teams.

If you could like to attend, please let them know by emailing longtermconditions@gov.scot with your name, organisation and email address so that the teams link can be sent on.  It’s important for them to know who will attend so they  can assign break out rooms.

We may need to minimise the number of people from the same organisation so we can ensure as many third sector organisations as possible can attend.
